When you think of the North Pole, what comes to mind? Snow and ice? You probably wouldn’t think it of taking a walk there, much less mountain biking. But that’s exactly what pro biker Darren Berrecloth and his friends do:
The north pole is big place, and there is dry land around it. On the island of Axel Heiberg in Canada, just 40 miles south of the pole, Darren and his friends take mountain bikes and do some freestyle riding. The jumps are cool, but the views are just breath taking.
You don’t have to go all the way to the North Pole, but where can you go locally to experience nature and just be in awe of it?
